An elegant Galician Mencía, with subtle mineral notes and layers of fruit. This wine displays great typicity, thanks to a careful selection from old vines grown on the slopes of the left bank of the River Sil. Valderroa Carballo is only produced in great years. After careful grape sorting, the wine is aged in barrel where it integrates subtle oak notes that merge with the typical characteristics of this variety. When the optimum moment of oak ageing has been reached, the wine is bottled and stays at the bodega to continue ageing in bottle, gaining extra finesse and roundness.
